WHO WE ARE AND WHO WE SERVE
In the New York State PTA (NYS PTA), a council is a group of at least three local PTA units that are organized under the authority of the NYS PTA. Councils operate under bylaws that are approved by the state bylaws coordinator. The purpose of a PTA council is to bring together educational partners, promote child welfare, support local units in the mission of the PTA and to provide opportunities for networking and training.
